Activities of 2016


  • SAF participated in seminars based on Christian and Muslim perspective organized by local mosques.
  • SAF received a Certificate of Appreciation from Chief Warden of Middlesex County Correction Center for visiting the prisoners every week.
  • In exchange of SAF’s Mission trip to Chattanooga, TN in July 2015 with 17 people, a young couple Seth and Kendall visited New Jersey in May 2016 and were hosted by the friends of South Asian Fellowship faith communities.
  • SAF participated in a prayer gathering with other clergy members on National Prayer Day in Metuchen and prayed for the security of America and world peace in particular.
  • SAF participated in Memorial Day parade with Muslim and Hindu communities to honor men and women who died while serving United States of America.
  • SAF joined and celebrated both India and Pakistan day parade at Oak Tree Road in Iselin, New Jersey.
  • SAF organized Thanksgiving service on Sunday November 20, 2016 with people from Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist faith.
  • Team of SAF was invited by a Turkish family for a Ramadan dinner.
  • SAF in September 2016, visited Roanoke VA, and helped to organize a multiethnic fellowship.
